Apex-Brasil Hospitality Coach Canopy

Just Marketing International approached our team with an opportunity to help out their client, Apex-Brasil. Apex-Brasil is a trade promotion agency who has partnered with the IZOD IndyCar Series to introduce Brazil's bio-fuel and other Brazilian-based products to the American public.

By combining the creative juices of the folks at Just Marketing International, the metal fabrication skills of Golden Gait Trailers and our knowledge of fabrics and printing we were able to produce a hospitality pavilion that fit the client's needs.

Challenges

How do you take a relatively vanilla looking motorcoach and turn it into an eye-catching hospitality set-up? One that makes a lasting impression on race weekend? Color and creativity are the keys.

Motorcoaches can be tricky enough with their collection of windows, doors, mirrors, and curved surfaces. In addition to these impediments we had two slide-outs to contend with. With the experience of our staff and Golden Gait Trailer's crew, we were up to the task.

To top it off, the program's success in the first year prompted a major expansion for 2010. It was time to think around the box.

Solutions

Creating a splash with lots of color and vivid graphics was right in our wheelhouse. Our in-house graphics & printing capabilities allowed us to respond quickly to artwork changes, provide print samples for approval, and produce true results. On time and on budget.

The coach side slide-outs, which would normally interfere with the canopy frame, were cleared by having the roof project horizontally then make a bend to slope down to the outer eave.

When Apex-Brasil decided to expand for the 2010 season we moved the existing framework to the roadside and added adjoining curbside and rearend canopies. This more than tripled the footprint, turning a curbside canopy set-up into a wraparound hospitality pavilion.
